Mother's Day Hike

We had an awesome time on our Mother's day hike. We hiked two miles and saw a cottontail bunny rabbit, a very long coal train, and a short rail repair train. There were lots of people on the trail today and I even got some resistance training carrying Lucy for a 1/3 of a mile. Wow no wonder I didn't want to exercise when I was heavier.

The kids woke me up with Breakfast in Bed (2 Giant Pancakes, 3 Tiny Pancakes (to ward off the baby birds), Scrambled Mike Eggs, Bacon(also stolen by the baby birds), and a sunny glass of orange juice. I lazed around all day reading my book and doing a load of laundry. Watched a movie while they were at Target finishing up the plans for my Mother's Day Gift. Mike and I have a fabulous deal going for Mother's Day Gift. Each year he picks out about 30 or 40 pictures for the kids to choose from and he buys a collage picture frame. Each of the kids get to choose a few pictures and voila. Momma is thrilled.

All in all a fantastic day! I even got Shisk-K-Bobs for dinner... Yummmmmm
